Hope she's not gonna stick to Towa for too long, she feels hella manipulative/toxic and two faced, without doing a good job at hiding it

Oh god, she just gave Iyu the final push that was needed to awaken her butterfly, didn't she?
Though I have to say, the way that I absolutely can not tell what kind of ending this story is going to go for is incredibly refreshing. I want to see Ayumi and Iyu make it out of all of this happy and healthy, but I feel like that is just as likely as the disastrous end of the last remnants of humanity, with plenty of suffering on the way to that destination.
This is a surprisingly interesting story!

After a reread, i realize Iyu is only in the first 2 chapter, That why the girl that run to MC cry when she awaken and survive have different color hair. Yeah, she is another girl MC met since chapter 3 during the previous battle.
Which make me wonder, why even create the new girl Yotsuba in the first place ? you could combine them to just one character, just bring Iyu to that mission too, and fill that same role ? unless this gonna turn into a harem so you need to create more girl that just give all flag to just one girl

this lead to the possibility of Reika redeem pretty high and joint the harem. why create the chapter 5, showing the old Reika truly love MC. showing that, the shitty Reika is once different and was worth it. Since, if you want to just a shitty Ex, with some change in personally and not be shitty, everything is already good.

It was surprising to see that they were all told that Ayumi was KIA instead of awakened as a noble butterfly. I feel like announcing that the biggest underachiever finally awakened would be a morale boost. Also would've expected Yotsuba to seek out Iyu at least after being told about her, unless she's still being transferred back to The Farm.
Pointless speculation below:
While it couldn't be foreshadowed harder that Iyu will be a black butterfly, I do wonder if she'll upset since she never really wanted to be one. I also wonder if it'll be revealed that Black Butterflies are mostly centered around revenge because she'll try to murder Reika and start a race war.
