I wonder if all those movies listed were real series

lol I mean some kids can be shameless but even without a friend being “rich” I wonder how many parents send their kids over to a friends house to sleep over for a free dinner/meal and sleeping over as free babysitting or so tho other than them being close by vs driving to another city I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some parental group fund where you’d be “obligated” to give the hosting parents a bit of money for the trouble

Oh, that’s pretty neat! For anyone wondering, I think the movies referenced are the following:

Thy Name -> Your Name (aka Kimi No Na Wa, 2016)

Me Am You, You Are I -> I Am You, You Am Me (aka Exchange Students, a Nobuhiko Obayashi film from 1982)

Seven Days of a Papa and Daughter -> Seven Days of a Daddy and Daughter (this seems to be a direct reference I guess. Interestingly, there is a 2007 JP series, a 2017 Korean movie, and a 2022 JP series [a remake?] all with a similar name and concept).
