I always feel weirdly guilty that my own coming out went like a total breeze, thanks to my family having figured it out long before I told them and not caring about it in the slightest. I legit got more of a reaction out of them when I said I would be going scuba diving one summer and they got scared I might drown and wouldn't let me go My extended family was more of a mixed bag, but it's the relatives I expected to be jerks about it that were and I didn't like them anyway, so who cares ? Real happy for both of them tohave managed to clear that hurdle without too much trouble.
