Status quo reset and pointless, contrived drama. I knew it felt like reading something from the 2000s.
I am very disappointed with these last 2 chapters, I thought things started well, there was a good pacing going and now it does feel, alas, indistinguishable from a early 2000s shoujo, I have lost faith we are going to get anything else but a last minute victory.

We should have known. At one point I literally thought, "Is this an older title I missed?" Nostalgia blinded me. I hope the author turns it around quickly. There's apparently only 30 chapters, so I suppose we won't have to suffer too long if this is what we can expect for the finish.

I went through the first chapters again, the first 2 go well.
The guy is rather upfront about his feelings on what love means, he tells her to just confess if she really likes the guy and she does and it fails, so she goes looking for a new romance and involve him since he feels above romance and doesn't care about it.....then chapter 3 already introduces Blondie bastard.
Right now is been an handful of chapters where he clearly likes her but now he is the one not being honest, it just feels obtuse, where did that good will from the first chapters go? What was the plan?
