No, he's mad that he never told Eiji that he liked her all that time and only waited last minute to tell him (basically after they were dating). As a mutual friend (and probably his best friend), he felt very betrayed, "Not telling the most important thing at the most important time". (Not the fact that he stole the girl he liked, because he still feels happy for those two despite it being very painful)
