Man that ending felt like a series ending, glad it’s not, but could’ve totally seen that in an alternate timeline where this got axed.

It was so good I had to check that it wasn't the end because it really felt like it.

I think that’s more reference to the fact that their feelings are developing as the series goes on more then an acknowledgement that there won’t be romance throughout it
