On a side note just based on the manga a part of me almost wonders if she faked the test, given how it came right after she stalked him for a day. Like she was so desperate to make him hers she was willing to fake a pregnancy and then I guess claim miscarriage later.

This is the thing, every single problem, they always blame the guy who has nothing to do with anything. It's the same as those two mangas I read. One has similar introduction as this, the guy got traumatized because he was cheated on, and yet he gets all the hate and abuse without hearing him out. The other one is sort of new, the guy and his family received a sht ton of hate just because he talked to this girl the "narcissist" has a crush on.

I'm sorry about this but relationships like these are the worst ones that get me annoyed. They're not communicating each other, still keeping such secrets from each other (well in this case, she's the one making secrets), and then blaming him for not knowing everything that has happened. And the worst part is that the one who is responsible for such situations always gets away with it. It's pissing me off

Ok, but like he had at least a whole day to explain to his family what happen, but didn't. His family is a non factor in his eyes, his sister first showed up 2 chapter ago and didn't bother explaining it to her then. His parents first appearance and they hear to their knowledge his current "girlfriend" and childhood friend first. But the dad is in the wrong for punching him even though it wasn't too hard.

The last chapter will at least show him finally breaking down in front of both families and specially Kayo how much he will never forget this humiliation of being cheated on. Honestly that was one of most impactful part of the story because a lot of people become so embittened or they lose trust in others even if they fall in love again. Yusuke here at least realizing he has a lot of trust with Kotone and that he can 100% trust, respect and love her
