Cuz it's gud shit. Seriously tho, I expected grooming, I got Watashi no shounen 2I came here for the degen and controversy.
Can someone please explain to me why I have actually become so invested in this story?
Of course it is. Otherwise it wouldn't have lasted 5 volumes and still going strong. Though, I have to admit sometimes Japanese tastes do differ from the audience here. 'sees the gravestones of so many promising good manga that met their fate at the hands of the almighty Axeman...Cuz it's gud shit. Seriously tho, I expected grooming, I got Watashi no shounen 2
Idk, what is wrong with society(especially japan for this one) but some people will intentionally push others if they think that the others are "annoying".What the hell is that guy's problem? He must've bumped into her intentionally, there was way too much room for that to be an accident.
he isn't just burned outThat guy is beyond burned out, at least he seems to fall into romantic pitfalls on accident?
It is on purpose. Whether due to pent up stress or wanting physical contact (usually with women), it is not too uncommon. The term for them is ぶつかり男. Women are easier target because they are usually timid and won't call them out. And even if you do some of them end up getting angry at you instead. What the hell is that guy's problem? Considering Akari can't even be seen smoking in public without jeopardizing her image, I imagine their break up will have something to do with her status as a celebrity. Her being an eligible bachelorette naturally makes her a more marketable figure, and their bosses plus her fans finding out that she's taken likely is what spells the end for them as a couple. Either she'll choose her career over him, or he'll act the martyr and step away from her. From their dynamics here, and going by the assumption that they did date, I can kinda surmise they broke up for an 'immaturely mature' reason, if that makes sense lmao
The manga doesn't (or maybe hasn't yet?) delve/d off the deep end anyway
