Akari doesn't care about the entertainment business. It's a means to an end because it kept her father happy.
I don't think she would care to lose it when it's the people in her life that kept her invested in it to begin with. That's the interesting thing. A scandal on its own can't be what ruins this.

For what is shown right now she wouldn't care to let her career tank if the result was her marrying MC-kun, although it would happen at a faster pace than she wanted. Which means MC-kun is the one overly guilty consciouness over this.
