"Embarrassed of anyone seeing my natural face" Ugh. Leaving aside "it's just a story" and all that... I wondered if reading this would ever leave me fatally conflicted. Not because it's gay (I'm bi), but because... it revolves around one character using make-up.... and I hate make-up. I hate the way it looks; I hate the way it tastes when you go in to kiss someone. I've been lucky in that my two longest LTRs were with tomboys who rarely used it.
