As you are aware, there are currently 2 people translating this manga, which are me and loler(yamete kudascan). The letter above hopefully addresses his statement on chapter 68 and why this is happening in the first place.

Regardless of what either of us says, please read both versions and decide for yourself which version you like more.

in the end, my only goal is for this manga to be up to date, so I will continue releasing my own translation.

After being informed how loler took some liberties and "localized" some sentences I will now prefer your translations over their's.

Especially how the "professional localization" industry is I'm not really gonna trust anyone who even slightly deviates from the author's intention. The only excuse I'll accept is if it's hard to put it in English. Like a Japanese joke.

I'm not sure what kinda person loler is, I frankly don't care who is translating it long as it's true to author's intent, but there are some remnants who insist Hiura is a trans woman who are dying on that hill to this day on twitter and other parts of the internet even saying he might transition later in the story.. I'm not saying loler is one of those, but obviously someone might try to sabotage the fan translations in this way too..
so I'm very wary of such deviations as they tend to start small until the translator decides to insert political bias and rewrite entire sections of the manga.

You can't tell me this doesn't happen, when there's a war going on between localizers and readers on twitter.

Being in the server, I'd say it was more number 3 that woulda caused the mental breakdown. If you're on mangadex long enough, you actually do see real shit "bottom of the barrel" (what loler called these) translations. That are quite literally almost unable to be read. Which, Shiruko's have always been eligible to read, even if some punctuation/grammar mistakes.
Was probably still a mental breakdown, just a different source.
