I can't recall if the manga explicitly said that a "honey bee" is a very special species of bees to make that distinction, and if it is...Well, pretty bad name tbh, heh.

Honey bees are, by far, not the only insects making "honey". Or store it somewhere.

But they're the only insects that can be "tamed" to produce it in quantity in places you want.
Without apiary craft.... weeeeelll..... It's a hell of a lot trickier, if not outright dangerous, to get your hands on it.

Which reminds me... I still have a bottle of a french cider/mead to consume... No, it's horrible! You can't have it!!! To... to protect the Innocent!!! 😇
