Would you happen to know what is going on with the release schedule of the raws? The manga seems to have had a biweekly schedule originally, but now it can take anywhere between 2 weeks and 4 months for a new chapter to come out. Is it because of health issues on the author's side?Cliffedge stocks took a considerable hit this chapter, hopefully her market value recovers soon.
Is it ne, na, oi, or all of them, that's being translated so frequently as "hey" at the end of so many of the hero's bubbles? I saw that one of them was just left as "oi," and another made "okay?" as part of a question. How do you judge how to translate these ne, na, oi endings, and when it's necessary to switch from one to another? It felt weird to read but I can't say you did bad when the hero's mannerism seems difficult to translate, so I hope I don't come off as blaming you for an impossible situation when I ask. But how do make the judgement?Cliffedge stocks took a considerable hit this chapter, hopefully her market value recovers soon.
Honestly, I'm not that sure considering his twitter hasn't been active since December of last year, yet a new chapter was released in January this year. No updates in terms of health issues or otherwise that's been posted on niconico or twitter either that I can find at least.Would you happen to know what is going on with the release schedule of the raws? That aside, thanks for the translation! It's been a blast so far!
It's na and yo~ (in the rare cases). But he has a tendency to elongate his words and speak in a really gangsterlike style, so I thought hey was best way to bring that across. On the cases that he uses Oi though, I leave it as is like the panel in the first pic here.Is it ne, na, oi, or all of them, that's being translated so frequently as "hey" at the end of so many of the hero's bubbles?
