I'm no expert on the topic, but it felt like sensei was mixing up the Renaissance and the Enlightenment periods a bit, in terms of philosophy.

I’m interested in this, could you give some examples where this is the case? I’d like to do some research as well

I'm mostly referring to European society's approach to religion. Renaissance was less about moving away from religion and more about rediscovering stuff (science , technology, art) from the Hellenistic era (if I remember correctly). It was during the Enlightenment period that people focused more on rationality and the nature of humans outside a religious context.

Wish it would be more addressed rather than hinted, Sawaishi seems to be on the spectrum, there's not enough stories that cover it and only "That's My Atypical Girl" doesn't try to hide it between the words.

Such a GOAT teacher, man. I would have loved to have a teacher like Takayanagi now, but im sure i would be too young to appreciate him if i had him when i was in high school like these kids though
