TLDR: 10/10 made me rethink life.
Wow. Just wow. I finished this within 2 days and even from the begining I thought that he was going to die. I love that we get to see him live and continue his life as a father but some part of me wanted to see the last panel be buntarou's unconscious body at the peak of k2. Something like the 25th page. I absolutely loved the story shift from when the story writer left. It felt like the original writer wanted to be more like a shonen and for buntarou to go more into rockwall climbing but the artists story is much better. Hats off to sakamoto
A great read, it's not your typical shounen or seinen manga. There are so many tragedies in the manga from the early characters (Miyamoto/Suki) to characters introduced later (The kouhai). It's a very emotionally impacting story
