@arvianmilza666 yea, im not sure if breaking a few bones is the case here. with the amount of damage the girl took after her fall, the height was surely extreme. he definitely is a shitty guy though for not mentioning it to the climbing partners

This guy made the right decision.
In a situation of sure death, if you can save yourself then you save yourself.
Just like she got her lower body tattered to pieces, he would have died as well. The take that "he would have gotten off with 1 or 2 broken bones" is completely wrong here.

The real reason why he's a horrible person is that he slowly became an outcast and threw away his morals in order to justify himself.
Now he has no qualms of hurting others just to make a profit.
That's his real problem.
