It's nice that she has an ally in her situation, but the couple pages of comedy feels incredibly odd given the set up here was a violent kidnapping by a sexual predator brainwashing a village

...which we immediately get back to.

Well. Man. What a waste of a cool character design for the evil uncle(?) or evil great uncle (?), honestly unsure how old he's supposed to be.

The young bride is nice as an ally but um....god the horror of the circumstances they're in is a little too much. Like esp her realising no one has ever shown her any concern before the MC?
