Heh, I wonder if I'll ever take the time to go through the last hundred chapters after dropping it after the drivel of the Amongus arc and the useless new class of randos.

Komi will remain a case study of what not to do when you strike gold: it stalled when it got popular and got an anime, and the author got too lost in the sauce, thinking we loved his cringe and slapstick comedy (wrong). We love Komi and Tadano's romance!

The attempts at a harem were pointless. Manbagi was at least only because it was so sad for this nice girl that she had no chance and it was resolved pretty nicely, with an emphasis on female friendship... But then came Kawai for a repeat nobody asked.

I'll never forgive the Japanese for so many generational fumbles! Learn to write satisfying conclusions, resist the sirens of milking your golden goose, eat pastas with no sauce if you have to!!
Kawai needed to appear as she was the one that turned Tadano from cringe to Normal, then Komi appeared and he turned into Chadano.
Her thinking it was all okay wasn't that bad, make a huge arc for the "triangle" was bad and she really didn't need too look so much like Komi, I'm with you I remember a little later after that, that I dropped for a while the series, and it's one of the only series that could make me drop after over 6 years of reading (and sell the physical volumes I had, series got at least 4 strong years, probably taking Tadano screentime was what worsen the series)
sorry the long rant hahaha
tl;dr I'm with you there hahaha

さすが令和ラブコメだ
Truly a Reiwa-romcom with the lewds in the final, university chapter!

My primary complaint is that Oda seemingly ran out of steam after the New York arc and into the rest of their senior year, and it shows. One of my biggest disappointments with the story is the utilization of Kawai in the story. She really should have been a "last boss" type character to really test the convictions of both Komi and Tadano and their relationship that they have developed. I hoped that she got the same developmental treatment as Manbagi, thusly allowing our protagonists to really deconstruct and strengthen their relationship. Unfortunately Kawai was suddenly demoted to just another side character, no more important than Yamai.

On the topic of Manbagi, I am disappointed at the choice where Wakai was suddenly written in as an apology for fans and readers who were upset that she lost in the romance race. Instead I think she should have had her relationship develop with Kometani instead; who, at the end of the New York arc, seemed to have developed into a trusted confidant for Manbagi.

I think the artstyle from chapter 1 was a bit smoother than how it became near the end (im sure it's just because of simplification for the mangaka to smooth out the drawing process though)

Finally read all the missing chapters and the end...what to say, I still liked this last part trying to wrap up things for various characters but I feel that a pair of things here and there during all these years dropped a little bit the quality:
  • Manbagi became almost a complete different character in her new relationship, all silly (cringe?) faces and indeciviness. Maybe it's to represent that Wakai found in her something different to like, that could work, but at the same time she became like a (not-so-)comic character. Was it necessary? Meh
  • it was bound to happen maybe, but the more the story progressed and the friend list grow, the less we've seen some of the first group of friends; that's a shame because they were, after Tadano, the foundation of Komi's growth in her pursuit of 100 friends and I believe that even readers remember and cherished more them instead of some new characters that just appeared and disappeared in a few chapters (e.g. like the "egyptian girl")...they needed to stick around more through the story. I recognize that giving fair space to a lot of characters is not easy, but...
  • that's personal and not really a flaw, but I would have liked to see a future marriage / family chapter

All in a really good SoL...I'll miss all those dorks
