I mean i guess no romance tag but it is a cliche shoujo thing. if not them combining their stores or so or just being rivals (two bakeries near each other shouldn't be that much competition, depending on how much i had i wouldn't mind visiting both, maybe not every time, or like going to one for a certain bread and another for their drinks or so or whatever [well this particular one i don't think they had drinks but just thinking of one i went to that had to relocate that did some simple drinks too])

it's pretty light hearted otherwise so i think things will still turn around/idk how many customers would go on a daily basis anyways if only b/c of the amount of cals/carbs (even if i had more money unless i go there specifically to buy lunch, a bakery trip seems more like a 'once a week' thing than like a daily thing unless the breads as cheap as going to a donut store), or like ordering a cake for later or so

Nostalgia/inhering it from her family aside, it might be more ideal to move into a prime location but that'd be even pricier in rent as well

Baking is more 'precise' in measurements than cooking so other than like decorating and unique flavors and such, i don't rly think there'd be much 'stealing 'of recipes or so but hopefully there's no drama about that

Huh, so Honami didn't have her dad's recipe around after all.

Good thing boss wasn't around to see Komugi temporarily helping the competition. She was able to infiltrate them to gain info. Anyway, that dude ended up helping them in exchange for her help, so fair trade I guess. Love how her Honami's old family photograph had the final key to completing the recipe.

Little girl can see Komugi's ears too. Makes it even more strange that everyone has been treating it so normally. Are catgirls really such normal sights in this world now? Good thing they're all open-minded and don't treat her like a freak, or anything.

Mission is a success. Now Banno bakery gets to make three generations of women in that family smile. Hope they'll be regulars too. And that rival bakery guy seems like he might be a reoccurring character as well...
