oh no you got that flipped around bud, the first time the monkey was introduced EVERYONE hates it, and some still hated it with a passion till this day, only the minority including me and some other said that the monkey's okay since it's interesting that way.

The monkey would be better if his design wasn't "make him look smug 99% of the time like someone's first anime original character". His face is so very punchable. I'm not one for animal abuse, but the monkey needs a good fist to his face in every panel that he looks smug.

As for 'White Muffler', it's always funny when a case of "draw a girl, call it a boy" gets called out in-universe.
