Technically, if something is thrown into the trash, and there's nothing else in the trash that's dirty, chances are it's safe to eat. But I wouldn't risk it.
"Sweet yet somehow fruity," doesn't say much, since fruit is generally sweet. Sometimes also sour, and rarely bitter.
So the only thing it doesn't taste like is umami.
