I think he is strong for a normal human, but a (good) adventurer is supposed to be kind of special in that regard, just take a look at Karla. Also, I suspect she acts the way she does this chapter so she can look at his abs for as long as possible.

Yet another wonderful chapter, thank you so much, gentlemen.
My favourite moment is when at p.6 her hat gets blown off by electricity or whatever else that is getting into that fist.
I guess when Alvin comes into 10m radius near Karla he should automatically keep his muscles (all of them, not only abs) tensed all the time, then it won't be a problem

I love how his face never being shown above the mouth is a consistent gag, not the first time I've seen it but funny nonetheless.
(That old sitcom from the 80's or 90's where the guy did tool ads is the first I saw the gag, his neighbor never showed his whole face, only the top or bottom half.)

Also this chapters shows that Alvin does not view Karla as a girl what so ever, he didn't even hesitate to pull up his shirt and flex his bare chest and rippling(?) muscles.
