I actually had serious deja vu with the comments for this this chapter, cause almost similar ones (about being displeased with volume cover) were present in the previous chapter...

Well, as I said in last chapter discussion, this is the 3rd time staff put the cover for volume 15 on the front page. Some of us are indeed pissed.
Like, I can understand the manga finished in 2023, but since the translation is at volume 11, that cover actually spoils Huge things that happen later in the story.
Too bad it's too late for most of us...tho someone did say they came back to this because of the spoiler. Still, it's an idiotic move from staff

Yeah, this isn't the first time they changed the fucking cover and probably wont be the last. The MD staff that agreed to whoever wanted the cover change is as fucking stupid as the reporter(s). We're literally 4 fucking volumes behind still. If anyone thinks a cover for any series, regardless of genre, should be kept at the non-translated volumes, they shouldn't be making any sort of decisions at all.

I will be a bit more apprehensive about the cover spoiler if let's say, another language translation is already at the final volume or so (eg English: Vol 11, Brazilian Portuguese: Vol 12, Spanish: Vol 14). It would be selfish of me as an English reader only not to want to get spoiled just because our translator is 'late'. However, the latest English translation is Vol 11 and the Brazilian one is Vol 7 (and haven't been updated for ~3 months to boot), so it's a fair criticism.'

On the other hand, I enjoy spoilers (especially without context) because they motivate me to read more. 'What happened there? Now I'm curious!', so, something like this does not affect me that much. Also, it's practically impossible these days to avoid spoilers so we might as well embrace it .

I agree, it's a fairly idiotic move by the staff, I'm of the same opinion regarding the cover, fwiw I did report it but I don't think we'll get any changes...

I'd actually have agreed with the cover change if we didn't have active translations (like no one's translated it for 4 to 5 months or something) for the manga but this one does get updated regularly so this move feels even more annoying

At the start of the chapter I got worried we'd get a draggy drama arc full of insecurities and misunderstandings but it resolved nicely within this 1 chapter, nice

Maybe it's a Japanese thing or a translation thing but if I was him, I wouldn't fucking care. If I had a gf, she can call me cute or cool or a piece of shit if she wants. I'm just grateful to have someone love me.
