As mentioned, next chapter will be on October 28th, not 14th! Apologies about the delay
In Japan you might as well just go postal rather than look for another job unless you're scouted nobody will hire you thinking that you're "unreasonable" for leaving your companyI would never be alright with a forced transfer. Imagine putting all that work in to learn the ins and out of the job and then being forced to drop it all and doing something else due to the whims of a different department. If they forced me to transfer, I'd start looking for another job immediately.
Oh, I know. As much as I love Japan, their work culture sucks. Japan has a big problem with suicide and their work culture is one of those contributors. I personally would never last in a Japanese office because the moment a boss started berating me, I'd be introducing his keyboard to his jaw.In Japan you might as well just go postal rather than look for another job unless you're scouted nobody will hire you thinking that you're "unreasonable" for leaving your company

It was kind of a reason why I quit one of my jobs. Not that they actually could force me, but they did put some pressure on that. However, there were other more important reasons I quit, health being the first, and the work environment, which that pressure was part of, was only third or fourth. If they forced me to transfer, I'd start looking for another job immediately.
Last I worked professionally with Excel I used a Visual Basic version to interface the spreadsheets with a bunch of databases.Too late bud. Latest update for Microsoft excel is that they'll add python support for it so you going to also need to learn Python Programming as well.
Python is great for crunching the data and such but Microsoft decided to use their servers to run the python executables. Not really great if you want it for offline use.Last I worked professionally with Excel I used a Visual Basic version to interface the spreadsheets with a bunch of databases.
Their servers? As in official Microsoft servers, rather than whatever server you've got your data on, as some kind of online service? That sounds... weird, to say the least, so it sounds like I'm misunderstanding something.Python is great for crunching the data and such but Microsoft decided to use their servers to run the python executables. Microsoft servers. As in, their Azure cloud servers will be used to run the python scripts. The update is very specifically targeted for businesses anyway so it's very unlikely you'll get a chance to play with it on your own sadly.Their servers? Yeah, seems weird. Though they've changed since way back when. They used to only use their MS branded languages, in particular for more professional use (much like how most Apple products are mostly only Apple-compatible, and Tesla had their own charging system, though that last one's solved now from what I've heard), while sometimes allowing for other languages from private users who could finagle it on their own.Microsoft servers.
