I think they are trying to put AI on everything they own and python is a preferred option for AI programming nowadays. Thou the script for excel will be extremely limited compared to making your own for other stuff from what I hear. It's either that or the founder of python is making a lot of waves in Microsoft.Yeah, seems weird. Though they've changed since way back when. They used to only use their MS branded languages, in particular for more professional use (much like how most Apple products are mostly only Apple-compatible, and Tesla had their own charging system, though that last one's solved now from what I've heard), while sometimes allowing for other languages from private users who could finagle it on their own.
