so the girl is a ghost?, the fat guy couldn't see her, but the phone typed so he thought it was broken, so she's not a hallucination. maybe she's a shinigami.

Good manga. I liked more of the begining parts where it was more about the guy trying things he wanted to do before it goes all spooky.

This has evolved into something far better than it started out as, good stuff. The grim reaper stuff especially seems interesting.

Can someone explain to me what happened? I mean, I started reading and I loved the story, and now it turns out that they haven't translated the other chapters, meaning they left me halfway through. Does anyone know why? I need to know more about what happens next and the ending. I need to keep reading.

is the series actually over? It doesn't feel very satisfying and if the author wanted to end it they could have ended when he was going to commit suicide
I really liked the way the story was going, and if the story ends in volume 7 of the manga, it's officially over. There are like 60 chapters, I think, but they stopped translating them in 38. Ah, I need to know more. I'll have to see how.

I was actually able to get my hands on the rest of the raws through certain sources, if you know what I mean. I simply did some google searches and some bit of research to find obscure but great websites for getting the full raws. I even legitimately purchased the last volume on a Japanese web store, since the volume wasn't available at the certain websites at the time, then I used machine translation to find out what happened next. The story continues at volume 5.

The story ends at volume 7, chapter 61, including a short epilogue.

In my opinion, I think that this story is slept on, and it probably doesn't receive much attention because the cover, as well as the little girl and older man characters may turn off many people. I totally understand why they would quickly brush it off at first glance because it does seem to implicate something more of taboo and illegal, almost to the point of pedophilia.

But, if I ever had the chance, I would tell them to revisit or give it another go, because this story is much more than just taboo love, it's a story of loneliness, existence, finding meaning in life, and being able to move on, even after experiencing some difficult things.

In addition, the supernatural aspect is what kept me hooked on to the story. During the whole read, I was left wondering if what happened in the story was even real or not.

The little girl is technically dead, but she can still interact with the real world as well as go through some sort of dimension or other world. I also don't really understand how the little girl can still have her humanity and memories, despite being a ghost, but I guess it's just there for the story and I'm all for it.

This story is not only tragic but bittersweet because not everything is as it seems, especially concerning the little girl's existence and her entire role in it.

I would highly recommend this story to those looking for a supernatural read with some tragedy mixed in, and especially if you aren't easily turned off by the little girl, older guy aspect.

I would actually like this manga and story be adapted into anime if possible, because I think it would be an awesome idea. But then again, it may spark some controversy among the community for its themes and character portrayal. However, that's exactly what I like to see, an anime that doesn't hesitate to go against the norms and bring something fresh to the table as well as sparking new fans and discussions.
