I love the format of the song being in order of who joined the club and telling each of their stories. It's a beautiful way to close out this series.

Fantastic. As usual, I love how much information is conveyed through the facial expressions and body language. Look at Kudou's face on page 22. He's in his lane. Focused. Flourishing. For the first time, he's not just happy and excited to perform, he's really FEELING himself, finally free of the emotional baggage that's been holding him back all this time. Then look at Ousuke's reaction on the same page. Just by looking at his face, you can see how mixed his feelings are. He's super impressed and happy for his boys, but at the same time, he's feeling the panic set in as he recognizes that Meiryou's 1st place is now in serious danger.

On pages 36-37, you can see Kio's brief flash of worry about Atsumu's overpowering Yamada style sound get instantly replaced by utter shock (the judges as well) as Natsu drops in with the perfectly tuned accompaniment that he adapted specifically to blend Atsumu into the rest of the performance. You can really feel that they're thinking "Huh?? How did that unbalanced sound suddenly blend in seamlessly as soon as the rhythm guy dropped into the mix?"

On pages 7, 19, 40, note the gradual changes in the judge's body language. He starts off leaning back with his head resting in his hand, with no real expectations. Then, he starts leaning forward, but hunched over with his hands together kind of nervously, thinking "Ok ok, so they're kind of cooking, but there's no way that they can keep this up with all the members, right?" Then, finally, he's perked all the way up in his seat, leaning forward trying to process what he is seeing and hearing.

The author puts so much care into these details, and it really elevates the performance scenes so much even without any music or voice acting.

I've always looked forward to reading the newest chapter and this chapter took my breath away. Even if you can't hear it from the pages, it just exudes music into my ears. I know it's not koto music but I had Hope is the Thing With Feathers playing in my head as I read each page. Seeing everyone culminate together with their playing just makes my heart swell proudly for them.
