Chika and Kurusu HAD actual development and building foundations for character reform/reveal. Their backgrounds were flushed, and they actually had major interactions with the rest of the cast in ambiguous/positive light. All douchebag did was condescend and shit-talk practically his whole existence. When there was background on him, it was about him leaving every band he ever joined, while calling them crap. Sooooo yeah. Pretty sure I'm not the one not reading between the lines 😁
