Why not? We've seen a player just drop that bench that supports their koto's strings accidentally, utterly wiping any chance for a win in a single wrong hand movement. Why not Ichiei completely bombing for a stupid, self-important and actually hurtful management decision? Cause frankly, for all the preaching about teamwork and whatnot, I struggle to find any angle that'd allow me to see it as anything but.

It totally is, I just don't think the Mangaka will do it, the MCs have to beat the Champs when they are at their best after all or it doens't really count.
