Sorry you had to deal with it, great job picking up such a great series and getting it attention, and doing a good translation to help get it popular. Unfortunate side effect is people without good taste or skills to pick a series on their own and make it popular will then try to snipe, but that's just how it goes when dealing with losers like that.

Thankfully, Mangadex allows you to easily block sub groups like that, so it's only a temporary minor inconvenience.

Asshole reason: "If we're selling each chapter for $1, we can attract more customers if we change the price to $0.50 per release, then divide the chapters into multiple parts so we end up making the same or more money per full chapter."

Yeah, they charge per chapter, and also run ads, the more chapters are chopped up, the more you visit their website to get more ad revenue.
