...Uh... This is kinda like the equivalent of a guy wearing a Domino's hat carrying pizzas with his car in the background having "DOMINO'S PIZZA" on the roof showing up at my front door and telling me "oh, I'm a former pizza delivery guy and a plumber." Some... conflicting signals/information, my dude.

It is my impression that this is not actually totally out of line for Japan, though this case is a bit extreme.

But, to some extent Japan already had Bhuddism and Shinto giving totally different and contradictory myths about how metaphysical stuff works and they never gave a damn; my impression is that to some Japanese, Christianity is just another hat you can wear, if, y'know, you feel like it.

That said, yeah, you would think an ordained priest would have realized by now that Christianity is a kind of asshole religion that bans practicing or believing in any other gods/religions (like getting citizenship in a country that requires you to announce all other citizenships, hah) but maybe given the setting (i.e. these things being real and substantive) it might still make sense? Iunno.

@dokidoki demon eye can only see evil spirits, as said by demon dude last chapter, so if she really is an angel or goddess his eye cant see it, unless shes a fallen angel or evil goddess
