I don't like that the author has resulted in using a charm item/skill to make the plot happen, kinda bland honestly. Would be funny if the item was not used and that the prince's rapid change in mental state was just because he was fed up in a loveless marriage.

I agree. I feel that the pacing after Ch 3 was a bit rushed. It felt like we barely had any time in the brothel. It also felt like we barely had any time with Travis to properly establish how trustworthy he is, he kinda just, appears, and Sherry just rolls with it.

I feel that pacing a bit too rushed.
