So someone in the group filter said they wanted to block chinese and korean comics... while I wouldn't do it personally, I do have a question if something related can be implemented and filterable.
For me I absolutely hate chinese and korean names, I read a lot of those a long time ago, and the names I can never get to stick in my head and it ruins so many of these stories for me, however there are some like "The Monster Duchess and Contract Princess" where yes it's korean, but none of the names are and I find it very enjoyable.
I'm not sure what my issue is, I have no problem with most languages names, but korean and chinese ones... I have never been able to get use to. would it be possible to have to have a filter based on how the majority of main character names are formatted? like the one that I mentioned, I would say its korean with "western" names, I don't know how delineations would need to be taken on name formatting, but western/japanese/korean/chinese would probably do it, I can't think of any other country where a book has come from, got popular enough to be known enough to get translated, and had a different format for names outside of these four.
at least for me, the name format is the biggest thing that keeps me from picking up korean or chinese books, i'm not sure if others feel the same way or if its more story structure that they don't like.
