I would consider the perverted jokes in Mitsuishi-san to be more advanced. But a couple of friends did mention Monogatari to me.

It seems to take about 2 years for a volume of the manga to come out.

I was able to see some activity from the author back in January of this year, so it's good to know that she is at least alive.

Here I am, waiting for Volume 17 to pop for Goblin Slayer since 2022 ( it was 2021 for the Japanese).

At least that isekai Manga got releasing again from a short hiatus, I recall it's my power level is 2 (like deez nuts) but I'm Op!!!

This proves lazy plot actually never gets fired, like employees.

The manga sort of has the past and future thing.

I assume it'll be explained more in the next volume.

My theory is that he is experiencing a sort of whiplash from Mitsuishi-san being a tsundere to a yandere, and he's not used to it so he gets sort of normal (volume 1), and then he gets used to her again and becomes his crazy self again.

But THAT'S JUST A THEORY.

Also in chapter 11, Mitsuishi-san said something to Hajime in the past, but what she said hasn't been fully revealed yet, so that's probably something.

Edit: his dad died too sometime in his past, so that probably adds onto his craziness.

I know that the one in black panel is the past and the one in white panel is current. But the white panel scenes in the earlier chapter (0 - 20), MC has been pretty normal so far and only Mitsuishi is weird. But now MC is totally fucked in the head.

Yes, but the black panels are specifically 1 year into the past.

Basically he goes from not crazy (volume 1 past) 》crazy (volume 2-4 past) 》whatever volume 5-6 is going to be 》not crazy (volume 1 present) 》 crazy (volume 3-4 present).

There will probably be an explanation somewhere in volume 5 or 6 since the story is weirdly complicated.

Also his character development seems to be completed at the end of volume 4, so I'm pretty sure he won't change too much in the next volumes, but thats only my thought.
