Oh, no arguments from me regarding him being dumb, my point was, she's also kinda dumb. Basically, dumbass MC sees her as dumbass who accepts anything, and I mean anything. So even when she offered, he thinks she's just that dumb, and her behaviour doesn't exactly go against his stupid belief.
And she's dumb because if she wants him to do something dirty to her, she can literally just say that instead of acting like she's doing it as part of a request on the same level as handshakes and high-fives.
And regarding the grammar thing, the only reason I'm latching onto that "can't" is because she's been established as being unable to say no (to "normal" requests, MC's the only one who thinks it applies to all requests, but she does go above and beyond, most normal people would've said no at some point lol). So it's less of a grammar thing and more just her reinforcing his twisted view of her, which actively delays their progress.
Basically, this entire thing is stupidity built upon more stupidity, such a shaky foundation yet they're somehow dumb enough to keep it up.
