I don't like how the new author re-wrote the end of the incomplete original work.
Before, Clelia and everyone involved "did what was necessary" like pragmatic, realistic people.
Now, it's somehow devolved into Shonen "if you strike me down you become me".
No. Enemy leaders get publicly executed (and humilated) to raise the standing of the victor who defeated them.
And traitors suffered an even more gruesome death. Wiith torture, communal punishment of houses, everything.
I am not saying I want to see that, but at least following the original author's original thesis.
