@ShionSinX You didn't read it properly, then again the translation is riddled with grammar mistakes. The "magicles" are something that gather in the air and all living beings seem to attract those magicles, they gather inside the vessel and the more energy someone has, the more of those magic particles are attracted to their store of magic energy. It's not something that every planet has, it seems like only this planet and one other has these kind of magic particles in the air. It was said that on another human planet they discovered, some of the animals there were able to harden their skin by using an "Unknown Energy" which can be assumed to be magic. The planet which they reside in probably has some kind of abnormal core that generates magic energy.

Regarding his being able to use magic easily, I'm sure the AI in his body is able to control the flow of that energy the same way it can control the flow of oxygen in his body. It also seems like the AI is connected to his mind so he does not have to do the 50 or so processes for executing magic like the other people have to, the AI probably does those for him and controls his magic output.

I'm pretty sure the bugs didn't bother because they, as said from the previous chapter on the background of the commander that died (present AI) that the bugs were specifically going after the technologies by humans, which isn't present in the age of that world which is very primitive and reliant on magic.

Now imagine if the bugs came across the planet, discovered magic and how potent it is, figured out a way to suck and contain the air/atmosphere containing magicules and made it possible to be used in outer space or anywhere else in the universe.
Imagine if the bugs, who are evidenced as capable of human language further develops their brain and develops technology with the help of magic.
Imagine an entire galaxy of bugs which can use magic hell-bent on eradicating mankind.
Technology, they don't have it, but they have something equivalent or even better than it : magic.

Wow, it's a surprise there's none of the usual in-story fussing about underage drinking with Ria, since I tend to see useless details like that in other fantasies that aren't even set in Japan. All 3 of them had a mug of ale no problem. No drunken shenanigans either. Good, no need to bring Japanese laws into a setting that isn't in Japan and has no Japanese characters.

Him remembering the galactic war being waged for humanity's survival ties into him becoming party leader, so now he has a direction to work towards: preparing the people of that world, or at least his allies for a possible alien invasion. He really doesn't have much choice since escape from the planet is not an option, and the alternative would be for him to fight off the invasion on his own. He might be OP, but he's also mortal so the bugs can still beat him with enough numbers and enough injuries on him.
