Something I really like after noticing it in the art style is how mundane the protagonist is, and even goofy with some of his reactions, in contrast to the beautiful and rather detailed fantasy world cast. But the moment the scrubs are on, the trio are all on equal visual footing, bringing the core visual style out where fanciness doesn't matter in the work of medicine and treatment.
