Have you talked with people of Akatsuki Scans? "They seemed busy" is a very poor excuse for sniping a title. You didn't even waited several months to see if the current translator would continue or not: you uploaded your translation just one day after they uploaded a new chapter.
I'm not even going to comment on the fact that it's a machine translation and so on, although I have my thoughts on the matter.
What you should do is remove the translation and talk to the current translator.

This chapter did come out a day after Akatsuki uploaded, yes, but according to the end page this took two days to work on. So Akatsuki's latest chapter would not have been out yet. As in, all they would have seen is that the last chapter came out 5 months ago. Hell, if you go to Akatsuki's group page, all their uploads for the exception of yesterdays were anywhere from 3-5 months ago. I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that the group were either too busy to work on the manga they once worked on, disbanded, or moved to another site with the latest nuke.

That's also not considering how much time it would have taken for the chapter to be approved for upload by Mangadex staff. I've seen others comment in the past that it took a day or two for theirs to be approved, admittedly am unsure if that's in all cases or in special cases, but the fact remains that there's a possible delay there as well. Since this is yuriie's second upload I assume that'll probably be the case for them as well.

Suffice to say, I think you're taking this far too personally.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It’s not like I was ‘sniping’ on purpose. For context, I’ve been holding onto the raw for almost a month before deciding to translate it myself. I had actually tried translating chapter 1 into my own language before Akatsuki Scans posted an update, but I decided to continue the English translation instead, since starting from the beginning would be a hassle. I had even worked on cleaning chapter 22 before they released their update.

If you don’t like my version, please just ignore it and wait for Akatsuki Scans. I know my quality isn’t better than theirs, but I still want to do this simply because I really love this manga.

Also, there are a lot of manga with double or even triple translations in the same language, so I don’t really see the point of asking another scanlation group for permission before uploading mine—since theirs is also just a fan translation, not an official one.

Talking with them is the proper thing to do but I don't think doing a 7 page omake makes it any less abandoned after 5 months. I wouldn't fault him for this.
