When she left, the cat disappeared for about five years. That was when my mother came back. He showed up immediately, like it was just yesterday.

I don’t know, man. I have torn feelings about this manga (and a lot of avogado’s works). That feeling of hopelessness is inevitable for most people so portraying it in that lighthearted way in a form of art is ok I think.

But..suicide is never okay though. So I can’t agree with artworks that suggest it as if it’s a good option.
