Every other page is "I lived in the mountains so of course I can... " Flight demons, clean houses, do carpentry, make bow and arrows, automobile repair, fly, invent cheese, snorkel, nuclear engineering, do plot convenient op thing.

The MC is also unreasonably positive. Like, in a brain damaged way.

This manga feels awkward AF to read. I'm not loving it.

So I have a bone to pick with that description. While it is technically giving an accurate description of the events of the manga, it makes it sound like this a story about a Cinderella-like character in the inner court who slowly but surely charms everyone with her cleverness and hard work.

When in actuality it's a demon slayer/exorcist manga.

Not a spoiler. You find that out pretty fast. And it pretty much becomes the focus of the story past the introduction.

It's kind of strange that they seem to almost go out of their way to hide the most interesting part of the manga's premise.
