I find it odd that the foreshadowing of his ability to fight was that he used to do kendo. The kick would make more sense if he did something with kicking because afaik kendo doesn't have kicking. Other than that it's nice to see a harem MC with a brain for once.

People are saying he should have gone for the balls, but right now I’m wondering if he’s even going to stay down. A kick in the chest likely didn’t do much more than knock the wind out of him, so it’s good that he also hit his head when he went down.

I’d have preferred for him to break his kneecap or cause some other devastating injury. Why not have these guys OD on their own sleeping pills and just save everyone the trouble?

Bonus points for getting to the dressing room before they drank the drugged tea. Plus we finally saw the masked girl’s face!

Kicking someone in the chest will do plenty depending on how hard you kick them, kicking them in the solar plexus will just do even more depending on how hard you kick.

Generally speaking, society has been slowly- as in over centuries- been learning to not judge solely based on appearances or first impression. There are many occasions where someone gives a poor first impression or has a disconcerting look to him, only for it to turn out that they're harmless. Which is not a bad thing: tolerance and acceptance are good things, when going both ways in good faith.

Unfortunately, it also means that people are more inclined to dismiss warning signs like what this scumbag gave off. From the MC's perspective, the dude came off as pushy and intimidating but offered a very generous payday simply for convincing the trio to take part in a photo shoot. He also showed off a very professional-looking setup, giving more credence to the idea that despite appearances he takes a very professional approach to being an influencer.

There's also the fact that this guy has a... high-ish viewership/subscriber count, and has so far managed to keep his activities under wraps and his reputation intact. If I'm recalling the earlier chapters accurately, anyhow. We as a society always think that if something was amiss, someone would say something. Yet too often the victims end up feeling isolated and powerless, and it's all they can do to keep their heads above water. Lo and behold, this guy has made a whole damn system out of taking advantage of girls.
