I was thinking the same thing. It could be that he was just too focused on recovering because his body was so weak that the original died. But after 10 days and being recovered enough to eat at the table with everyone, you'd think that he'd wonder why she repeated so many times in the first place. He glossed over the cliche possibility that he may be an executed villainess comically quick. Given that the original went through it numerous times, you'd think he'd be more concerned by that implication (as in, she wasn't able to change her fate, or perhaps will always return regardless of what happens; death from old age, or anything else).
I thought that it was for comedy? He glossed over the cliche possibility that he may be an executed villainess comically quick.
lebisanAnother thing that he basically ignored is how will he deal with romance with men, since he still thinks of himself as a man in a little girl's body. I know this story will deal with this 20 chapters later, but that would be one of the first things that would freak me out right away, if the same thing happened to me.
it's probably gonna be romance with the prince who is the same age as her (judging from the previous synopsis before this new one)hmm, romance tag?
Yeah, I was thinking he seemed oddly certain that "repeats = villainess". Like, sure, that's a trope in our literature. But if you consider things from a perspective of realism then someone that needs to repeat their life often is unlikely not a bad guy reaping consequences of their actions. Instead odds are that he reincarnated into a body that has plenty of enemies due to her family, or located at an unfortunate spot for a future defensive war, or other calamity. Or that there's some final destination bullshit where ppl's time of death is fated. He glossed over the cliche possibility that he may be an executed villainess comically quick. Given that the original went through it numerous times, you'd think he'd be more concerned by that implication (as in, she wasn't able to change her fate, or perhaps will always return regardless of what happens; death from old age, or anything else).
I wasn't sure but I was pretty sure the TL kinda flipped the sentence (he was supposed to mention her looking like a doll prior to that sentence, but it's reversed). I wanted to be sure so I read ahead to chapter 2 before replying, and it makes more sense after reading it. Sure enough he is just really crazy about dolls. He meant he would buy a doll that looked like her."Id have thrown away all my money to get my hands on her"
...uh...what? I know he mistook her for a doll but thats really fuckin creepy dude
with onii-chan?hmm, romance tag?
