Oh this looks pretty coo-

"Sees adaptation tag"

Welp never mind, this will likely end up as a novel ad, so I will not get too invested in the story.

So, how long before the slaughtering of humanity is:
1: Used to reveal that humans were the villains all along
2: treated as a joke
3: stops mattering or has no effect whatsoever on the story beyond being used as the initial setup

Which are things these kinds of stories usually do.
A few chapters maybe? Hopefully soon. The mood here looks like a balance of partial 1 and partial 3, enough we don't care much for either side (save maybe civilians)... Which makes the whole setting kind of 2, stockholm syndrome edition.

I don't hate the xenocide but killing most of humanity is rarely handled well. A specific smaller portion or longer campaign sometimes often has weight, but a handwave last-stand genocide leaving this sort of cartoonish clarity doesn't have room for nuance. The sooner the story shows there's no rational reason for ultraviolence the sooner I can let it go or enjoy it. Pretentious reasoning dragging on is usually just an author's war crimes fetish or other fetish taking up space.

So far so good considering treating the setting as a warped cosmic joke is the least bad of the three routes you painted.

Desperately wanting a series like this to do proper world building and build up instead of just jumping directly to "humanity losing a huge war, need a diplomatic marriage for peace for some reason, marry her off, also here's the Demon King's subordinates". Like pleeeeeeeeease, anything to make me feel actually invested into these characters and this world cause so far there's absolutely nothing.

Also why are the Demon King's subordinate's all random tropes? We got the Warrior, the Nun, the Maid, and the Middle Eastern Princess. Why is the Maid trying to kill the main girl immediately, surely they know of the deal given it was agreed upon? And no, being jealous is not a good reason for that behavior.

thank you for the upload, and if this series ends before she puts a ring on each of their fingers after realizing that the only way to garner peace for humanity is for her to have wives, thus achieving the polygamy protagonist route the situation calls for, then was there actually a point to 2025 after all?
