Wait, I’m actually really interested in how she’s still alive. I honestly thought the Demon King was gonna revive her and apologize or something. That twist was kinda nice though, not gonna lie.

So if Melfina is ABLE to resurrect her she won’t use one of her lives, but if she is currently unable to do so, she is not in the area or under the influence of mind control, Cecelia will use up another retry.

”Well then why doesn’t she just stick near Melfina?!?” because she doesn’t know if/when she could be mind controlled and it could be difficult to win over the generals whilst third wheeling with their king. Such predicament!

And at least the extremely long title now makes sense: it was a resurrection manga in disguise!

Is the circus in town?

Honestly thought it was gonna be a "Demon Lord has a wicked Alter", which would explain why she's.. ...well... A demon lord!

I mean, Demon Lord seems kinda chill, lazy and cute af! She also doesn't look remotely interested in fighting humans either. So whoever this somebody is, who's pulling her strings... why wait that long to even do it? Why not just do it when.. ...you know what!? Let 'em cook!

Ehhh could've done without the time loop returner shenanigans. At least they introduced that plot point pretty early so I can avoid getting invested only to be disappointed later on.

Also, the tone of this manga is a bit too all over the place. The writing feels like the author just threw a bunch of random bullshit at the wall and used whatever stuck.

I really like the setup here. Time loop is logical step forward as she was taken out suddenly and without any contest. Now we have a bad guy to catch while taking care not to be killed by any of the four generals. And time loop is not infinite, which raise the stakes a lot and I am all for it.

On top of all of that that fairy is sus, almost reminds me of Dina from "Wild Last Boss". Cute and helpful, but has crazy powers. I really hope the author will cook with her.

In any case this manga is promising, hopefully the story will deliver eventually since some seem to be disappointed by it as it is right now.

Introducing resurrection magic and then not even using it for a "second chance" story certainly is a choice.

Never trust the fae.

I think it may be that if she stays dead in that timeline (as in the fairy likening the future and sees 'yeah she ain't getting up from that') then she uses a retry.

To be fair, she's a normal human with a noncombat magic skill in a kingdom full of violent and aggressive demonfolk who viscerally dislike her, both for what she is and for the reasons she's there at all.

She can be killed at the drop of a hat if she's not supremely careful, and even then, it's no guarantee that Milfina will be around to bring her back in time.

The "Time Loop", which is already finite, is kinda necessary in that respect for her to have even a chance.

As for the rest of what you said - when you say tone, do you mean that it feels too light, or too heavy? Or are you speaking to the plot devices at play? Because her stated goal hasn't changed, in brokering peace between demonkind and humankind; she just now needs to figure out what's controlling Milfina. But the "marriage" aspect was always a cover/pretense for achieving peace, and even this "reincarnator" stuff could be a special additional skill for Celestia--and we just learned that no person should have two. That, or this faerie/diety is another mysterious actor that might factor into either what's going on with the demon king, or the conflict at large.

All that to say - everything shown thus far does contribute to the overall premise, and either mechanically facilitates the plot or adds texture and potential hooks for future developments.

I know they will end up friends and all (most likely anyway) but that maid gotta go. She is supposed to serve her master, not serve guests to her master.
Po-tay-to po-tah-to. She's clearly read the book How To Serve Humanity.

spoilers please
Later in the story...

from what im skimming around...
this become something like cecilia vs calliope mori trying to get ina
but it also involve irys and bae later lmao, with some help from amelia time traveling shenanigan

It also shows that not all of ceciliia attendant are good person, in one timeline they managed to kill (weakened) ina cs later, since one of them actually murasaki shion (magician who is part of the first hero party who got killed by ina before the story begin)

well, things actually got quite convoluted background, but the main pair are cecilia x ina

sorry i kinda joke around about the spoiler, i'll give better spoiler after read the story more proper

well, maybe the spoiler before kinda too random, but basically...

this story is about proxy war between goddess of humanity (the one who give mc time travel), goddess of demon (the death god aka mori) and demi-human goddess (the attendant who accompany cecilia), later cecilia managed to remove mori control on ina

2nd arc about holding the wedding and the conflict centered around the hero party who want to kill ina or something like that (the witch is a mesugaki so you can say she kinda like murasaki shion), in the end everyone got killed (incl ina) + hero party at the wedding, since at this time the demi-human god take control of her proxy and killing everyone

for 3rd arc, in order to solve the problem who killed everyone, cecilia turn back in time again (with no time travel skill) and fled from the initial introduction with ina cs, later she need to seduce the attendant to know the demi-human goddess plan, later it found the main villain is the goddess of elven (they said its goddess of fertility something), also at this time the demon and hero party is on the same side

with the threat stopped, in the 4th arc cecilia and ina is officially married and got their honeymoon, the 4th arc not finished yet

well, this is what i understand
