This was a very cute series that I am happy to own the volume releases for.

If you want to know how if there's dating after a confession or if it's all chase before getting invested:

It's all chase; the series ends right after the confession
There has to be some sort of romcom mafia that threatens to break the hands of any mangaka who tries to progress their story past a confession scene.

Thanks for the heads up, had been reading this prior to its removal and it's good to know it's not worth chasing down.

Sadly if they don't start dating in the first 10 chapters, it usually means they don't date until the very end.

The only exception I can think of is Hitomi-chan wa Hitomishiri which got a long dating arc after the confession.

As for Kubo-san
it really was frustrating watching the series just end right after the confession. Yes there was a cute post-script but it doesn't make up for the loss of what might have been.

I still enjoyed the ride, but I am not someone who can be satisfied solely by a good chase.

My issue is that its either 300+ chapters of boring often chase, and manga ends when they finally confess, or they become couple in first few chapters and then it becomes a drama fest with often NTR elements and stuff. Even if manga is a cutesy mostly thus far drama-free stuff, like the few mangas that started not so long ago (the go-home club, cat-like girl or the rocket making club ones, could bring in the train couple one but that one is slightly different I feel), they still fit the bill - no confession for ages, and like the less "please kiss already" they are the more actual drama seems to real its head in.

Thou as long as the mangas aren't Rent a Hoe below mud quality level, we will be fine?
