I just wanna preface by saying HOLY SMOKES! That was completely unexpected. I thought this would be a letdown (next chapter might be still), but I did not expect Shiriashi to go there that hard out loud.

I have had my fair share of confessions. Many do not work out, but the key is to do it once a lady is quite comfortable with you alone. Shiriashi says in this that he gives up too easily. This is most men these days, and our phones will never make up for it.

You could consider manga in this category to be a “role swap”, where a lady makes the first move. But in real life, it is often the polar opposite. Women are so often thrust into careers they haven’t thought about. Some are like Kubo and REALLY desire family (often they are very cute). This creates a fear and discomfort when seeing others this way. It often makes them….. invisible. In Japan, I hear this is a much bigger issue than in America (for now). This requires confident, reasonably persistent men to seek them out and make them comfortable first. I’ve seen it work wonders for my friends in the last year. Lot of weddings I’ve shown up to
