Agreed, unless.. author san is planning to stall it again by blue balling mc, since Kubo knew he’ll confess she might get too embarrassed and stops him mid-way.

I hate when they end with the confession, and it's kind of outdated to end like that (unless the manga is axed, with I doubt)
