@Nitrorare
You mean "niece", right? "Nephew" is for boys. In any case, Saki is a cousin to the Kubo sisters (Akina and Nagisa).

@ Sem tato English has this difficulty in knowing when to use a specific word for the genre. In my language there is a word for male cousin and female cousin.

This poor kid just met his future in-laws and already one of them is an adorable miniature version of his crush and one is an older, more mature version of her...

This is gonna end with a lot of cousins that look oddly similar to one another...

I thought it was flashback or something. They really do look alike.

Perhaps it is destiny they they've meet.
Like how the Joestar bloodline are fated to face DIO and his minions,except instead of fighting,it's love.

Damn, those grandfather/grandmother genes really are dominant, same eyes, same hair, even same shape of the face.

Oh no. I hope I'm misinterpreting things here, but it looks like Saki has a crush of sorts on her cousin (saying how cute her cousin is and page 9 having her going to her cousin saying "Nagi-chan, love, love") and hates that she's close with Shiraishi (that pout at the last page). As if it wasn't bad enough with Kubo's ditzy friend giving Shiraishi crap because she thinks he's not worthy of Kubo's affections. At least with Saki, it can be interpreted as simply just familial affection towards her cousin, and I hope that's all it is, even if it'll still lead to Saki becoming something of a nuisance regarding Kubo and Shiraishi's relationship.
