Well, this seems to be more of a slice of life than anything. But maybe in later volumes there's more romance in it, and if you look the volume 5 and 6 covers they look close to each other and not in the restaurant too, so maybe they went on dates. But right now i don't think there's even a chapter they showed a romantic interest on each other.

They genuinely care for each other but it’s extremely subtext..They enjoy each other’s company and they have their own language.. regarding direct romance, we should not expect that from this series.. the romance here will remain to be heavily subtexted..
